What does Ford code P130B mean?

The knock sensor contains a piezoelectric crystal. When combustion knock occurs in an engine, a distinct noise is produced. The sensor converts the vibrations from this noise into an electrical signal. The Engine Control Module (ECM) uses this signal to delay ignition timing and restore normal combustion in the affected engine cylinder. The knock sensor may be powered by a reference voltage from the engine ECM. This allows the ECM to monitor the continuity of the knock sensor circuit.
The ECM monitors the knock sensor. The ECM sets the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) when the knock sensor does not meet factory specifications.
