Step 1Open the hood. -
Step 2Use a fender protection cover to avoid damaging the car’s paint and plastic parts. -
Step 3Remove the engine cover.recommends:Lift the engine cover by holding it on both sides simultaneously. -
Step 4Clean the oil filter housing cap.Step 5Unscrew the filter housing cover with the old filter element. Use socket 76-14F. Use a ratchet wrench. -
Step 6Prepare a container for the old oil filter. -
Step 7Remove the filter element from the filter housing and place the old filter cartridge in the container. -
Step 8Cover the oil filter housing with a microfiber towel to prevent dirt and foreign objects from entering the system. -
Step 9Lift the car using a jack or place it on an inspection pit.Replacement: Engine Oil and Filter – Mercedes W203. Tip:The vehicle should be on a flat surface, and if it is inclined, the drain plug must be at the lowest point. -
Step 10Unscrew the oil filler cap. -
Step 11Loosen the fasteners of the lower oil pan cover. Use a #8 drive socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
