The engine control module (ECM) monitors the power consumption of the leak detection pump. This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the leak detection system is running. A diagnostic code is stored if the pump’s current consumption in the leak detection pump unit varies too much during the reference phase.
