P1277 Meaning
The injector control module (IDM) is capable of detecting individual injector open circuits and short circuits to ground or power while the engine is running. The injector control module is also capable of detecting open circuits or short circuits to ground in the left or right bank high side circuit. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) indicates an open circuit from low to high side in the circuit between the injector control module and the injector.
