P1237 MERCURY Meaning

Fuel Pump Driver Modules (FPDM) control the fuel pump voltage to maintain proper fuel pressure throughout the engine’s operating range. Code P1237 indicates that the FPDM has detected a fuel pump secondary circuit issue. The FPDM sends a message to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via the Fuel Pump Monitor (FPM) circuit indicating that this problem has been detected. The PCM sets the DTC when the message is received.
