The electronic transmission fluid auxiliary pump is used to maintain transmission engagement when the engine is stopped and the transmission is running. The transmission control module (TCM) monitors the electronic transmission fluid auxiliary pump control circuit. The TCM sets the OBDII code when the signal from the electronic transmission fluid auxiliary pump control circuit is outside factory specifications.
