P0AC4 Meaning
The P0AC4 code indicates that the hybrid powertrain control module has set a hybrid powertrain code related to emissions. The hybrid powertrain control module sends a message via the serial data circuit to the engine control module (ECM) requesting illumination of the malfunction indicator light (MIL). When the ECM receives the message, the P0AC4 code is set. The P0AC4 code information for the ECM will only display the P0AC4 code, but the freeze frame/failure record data may display the hybrid powertrain code that is set.
