B0002 ACURA Meaning

The driver’s side airbag is located in the center of the steering wheel. The front passenger side airbag is located in the front passenger side dashboard. Airbag modules adopt dual stage inflators for the driver’s side and/or front passenger side airbag according to specifications. Dual stage inflators enhance airbag effectiveness by properly adjusting the timing when both inflators are activated (simultaneously or sequentially) based on collision speed or impact severity.
