🔧 DTC Code P0268: Issue with Cylinder 3 Injector

❓ What Does This Mean?

The diagnostic code P0268 is a generic OBD-II powertrain code. It indicates that the fuel injector for cylinder number 3 is drawing more current than normal.

This malfunction is usually related to an electrical circuit problem or a faulty injector. Although the code is generic, the repair procedure may vary depending on the vehicle’s make and model.

⚠️ This type of failure should be addressed promptly to avoid damage to other components such as:

  • The spark plug
  • The oxygen sensor
  • The catalytic converter
