P2449 Meaning
During the 20 seconds after a cold start of the vehicle, the air injection system delivers a controlled amount of outside air into the exhaust system, upstream of the catalytic converter, to help reduce hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions. Code P2449 is set when the actual air flow is higher than the model air flow.
