P1284 FORD Possible Causes

 
  • Faulty Injection Control Pressure (ICP) sensor
  • Injection Control Pressure sensor circuit open or shorted
  • Poor electrical connection in the Injection Control Pressure sensor circuit
  • Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

P1284 FORD Meaning

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the Injection Control Pressure (ICP). This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) indicates that a failure in the Injection Control Pressure circuit occurred during the Key On Engine Running (KOER) self-test.
