P1270 FORD Meaning
Engine RPM/Vehicle Speed Limiter Indicates that the vehicle was used in a way that resulted in exceeding an engine or vehicle calibration limit. The engine RPM and vehicle speed are continuously monitored by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The P1270 code is set when the RPM or speed goes out of the calibrated range.
