P1210 Possible Causes

  • Faulty Injection Control Pressure (ICP) sensor
  • Injection Control Pressure sensor harness is open or shorted
  • Poor electrical connection in the Injection Control Pressure sensor circuit
  • Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

How is code P1210 repaired?

Start by checking the “possible causes” listed above. Visually inspect the corresponding wiring harness and connectors. Look for damaged components and check for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded connector pins.

P1210 Meaning

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the injection control pressure. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) indicates that the injection control signal is higher than expected.
