The battery current sensor, which is mounted on the positive side of the HV battery assembly cable, detects the amperage flowing into the HV battery. The battery intelligent unit inputs a voltage, varying between 0 and 5 V proportionally to the amperage, into terminal IB from the battery current sensor.
