B0015 GMC Meaning

During a side or frontal collision of sufficient force, the Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) of the inflatable restraint system will allow current to flow through the deployment loop to deploy an inflatable restraint module. There are 2 shorting bars used in the module connector that will short the high and low circuits together when the connector is disconnected. This helps prevent unwanted deployment of the inflator module during maintenance.
